Graduated as Earth Science Physicist, Desnia Ayu Karlyna has always been a data nerd, which led her to be a software engineer at AccelByte. The company she works for provides a comprehensive backend services for Game Developers and Publishers across the globe with its white label platform and cloud services. In this company, Desnia started her very first project associated with video game, she tried playing online games and developing Unreal Engine SDK to integrate a game with AccelByte backend services. As she is passionate about data numeric, she found excitement in the challenges during load testing, profiling and performance improvement for some backend services. Changing lane to backend service development side, Desnia is currently stepping into Identity and Access Management due to her curiosity about how to protect player’s sensitive data.
